International Tax Law- Status Quo, Trends and Perspectives

This chapter will argue that developments in the past decade have significantly bolstered International Tax Regime, so it does a much better job protecting PIT and CIT from erosion due to cross-border tax evasion avoidance than did before 2010. Specifically, adoption of FATCA consequent development Automatic Exchange Information (AEI) Common Reporting Standard (CRS) protected PIT, while OECD BEPS project has improved CIT, especially if current 2.0 effort is successfully concluded.
